None of them have 1B as a secondary.
Honestly, I don’t start Biggio or Sheffield. It’s weird have 99s come of the bench as a platoon, but that’s what I do. I start Alomar over Biggio. I use Biggio as a platoon in LF (secondary position) against LHP. I use Sheffield as a platoon with Reggie Jackson in RF or Ed Mathews at 3rd.
I would just use a real 1B there if I were you. I’m going to platoon Helton with this new Joe Carter at 1st.
If you have Biggio, that means you have Giambi. I would put him there.

Biggio absolutely rakes for me, so does sandberg so I’d like to keep them both in my lineup. And Sheffield is plenty serviceable for me, but I’m thinking about taking that Henderson card. I know kluber the meta, but I’m just thinking. And yeah, I’ve got the Giambi who absolutely murders RHP for me

Ideally, I’d like to keep Sheffield, Sandberg and Biggio in my lineup. I could put biggio at catcher, and do something else with my CAP, but every time I’ve had biggio behind the plate I get a lot of pass balls

Glad to here about Sandberg, that’s who I’m planning on taking at gold 1.I would just at least try to keep them at their secondary position.
I thought I remember reading you made WS already. You got nothing to lose. Try it out for a bit. See if they can do it without playing stupid out there at first.

If you put someone at 1B who doesn't have 1B as a secondary position, he'll drop every ball thrown to him
