Did that card get removed from the pack?
It's value has sky rocketed, I know he's suspended for 80 games but this doesn't make sense

If they pulled this card from packs and the only way to get it is via the marketplace; they need to also pill it from any collection.

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN IIRC, they didn't even remove Felipe Vazquez from collections, he just became unobtainable. No reason to remove Profar. They'll move his live card to FA, it will probably stop dropping, and that will likely be that. Removing him from the threads collection would screw all kinds of things up. They might stop dropping the threads one (you can check in game by looking at the card and seeing where it can be obtained), but I would be absurdly surprised if they removed him from the collection. That collection does not require every card to complete (you need all but 3, IIRC).

Yes. They stop creating new cards (like making a card available in a pack) when players are suspended or placed on the restricted list for behavioural reasons. Both of his cards are removed from packs. It’s still an option in the collection but there’s 32 possible cards to use to finish the collection and you only need 28 of them so you don’t actually need his card. You can still get 28 of the remaining 31.
He should be removed from the Braves’ collection on Friday as a transaction update moving him to free agents.

They swapped Vasquez that year with a Gerrit Cole card.
Same last year with the dude from the Blue Jays that got the 80 game suspension. Granted those two were team affinity.

@saintleo14_PSN As I said, he became unobtainable, but they didn't remove him. If you already had him, you kept him, and could use him in the relevant collection.

You may not need his Threads card now; but what if you need it later?
As long as they don't make you collect EVERY Threads card for the final L&FA Collection then they don't need to remove it. But if they do; that's another story.
