Reggie Jackson's Defense

OK, I get it, he's a silver rated defensive player with 65 Fielding attribute But it's not like he's a Black Dot defensively like J.D. Martinez or Nelson Cruz.
I've never played with anyone who would miss routine flyouts or popups more than him. Even taking the proper angle, the ball sometimes still goes over his head which he has plenty of time to get to or underneath. I even had one tag up play that I thought I did a good job of getting a little bit behind the marker and timed it perfectly to run and throw; but apparently not, because after catching the ball, he ran towards and into the right field fence, and then off the fence ran some more before finally throwing it home...lol, I mean it was comical.
Anyone else having issues with his defense?

Not really. He just did the things the most recent patch was said to have fixed.

It's hard to rate any defender at this point, defense was semi-broke and the patch last night that was supposed to "fix" it actually broke it further.
I just had Judge and his diamond miss a routine fly because players aren't locking on or are locking on where the ball isn't going...it is a mess right now

I’m a moron for taking Ryne Sandberg over Reggie. Despite his fielding mishaps I think he has the best player model in the game (they nailed his look) and he absolutely destroys baseballs

"...oh, he misses it..." is the same thing as "...oh, he botched it..." from previous versions....just get rid of it.

Yup that's part of the current fielding they F'd up with the recent patch. Helton did something similar last night, they aren't going into catch animations for some reason
