Milwaukee Brewers and other small markets underrepresented in DD, again.
-
Count the number of Yankees, Dodgers and Red Sox currently in DD..
I understand they are the big market, but to give the Brewers 0 cards between the MLB Pipeline (7th best farm system) and New Threads (Nestor Cortez is meta), is disrespectful. Not to mention Paul Molitor was #19 (Robin Yount's number) until update 5. The people creating content need to understand that baseball fans from all teams play this game. I just mainly play a Brewers theme team, it's not a big ask to just get a card or two every other drop... -
Brewers get a Yount card today in the headliners pack.
I've been preaching for years that I think the gap between the biggest teams (Yankees, Dodgers) and smallest teams (Royals and in this case Brewers) are too large.
But in the economics of it all I understand. If SDS sees 1 million people clamber to get the latest Yankee card and only 100,000 to get the latest Royals card then I understand why they keep doing it. But it is also kind a self fulfilling prophecy. They announced Robin Yount on X today and comments were all pretty apathetic.
Hey, I am thinking the Brewers may get a decent Ted Simmons card this year.

Thanks for hearing me out.
Hey! The Yount is music to my ears! And poor timing on my post.. haha
"But in the economics of it all I understand" 100%.
I get it too, it's just.. when you have 25+ pipeline cards - maybe the Dodgers don't need 3 and throw the little guy a bone? Nestor would be a FUN card for everyone, so maybe add him instead of that 4th Yankee. Looking forward to that Ted Simmons!
