Official Thread for Bugs and issues in Stadium Creator for MLB the Show 25

If there is going to be a round table, I would happily share my feedback as a creator.
-
I'm more concerned about what is broken, than features we never had. I haven't been able to download a single stadium I wanted yet, so what broke that is causing this, and why can't they (won't they) fix what they broke?
I would love to have a dev job where I could break functionality and not be on the hook to fix it immediately.

Another couple things to add to the list @SDS_JoeK_PSN
-If we could get seating blocks the size of the MiLB ones, but minus the press box.
-Chunks of angled seats at 45 and 22.5 degrees(helps round the corners more cleanly)
-Wrigley style Ivy for the wall type(when we hit triangle to cycle through the different wall colours). The current wall prop ivy is really lacking
-Maybe some more signs, already have the rights to the gear and logos so why not incorporate some nike, marucci, adidas, Oasics, Warstic etc signs?
-Few more MLB batter's eyes- Wrigley's, Coors Field, Yankee Stadium (with the fans already on it)
I used Gemini to create this image, but this style of seating would be great, as it would add different options. This is more along the lines of what we mean by smaller seating blocks

Minor in relation to SC not working, and the major things we’ve been asking for years, but:
1- Cactus Options
2- Canadian Flag Options
3- More Cars, Busses, etc that are able to be placed individually—especially modern day types.
4-Fences that can once again be “chained” next to each other like it used to be—and an option to have all chain fence
5-Glass outfield wall option (like was in Atlanta Fulton County Stadium in the 1970s and 1980s)
6-Pre-set seating where fans are sitting at tables, benches, posh seating, fan decks and similar props. Currently, the “empty” seating props are usable by having standing fans nearby, but would be even better if they could have such items with fans sitting there already.
7-Concourse pieces (and props) that don’t “pixelize ” when put on top of each other.Thank you!

This is precisely the motivation behind my "building block" stand request. With a small block of seats (straight and curved) one could snap multiple such blocks together and construct precisely the setup you have in those images.
Then, if the walls behind home plate could be edited same as the outfield walls currently can be, then you can change the "oval" default shape behind home plate in the Blank Template, to replicate the angular configuration in your images.
About the only nuance I feel I should add to the baseline wall edit request is that the dugouts have to remain the same, but that means they should be affixed to the wall panel that is immediately left and right of the dugouts. You move those panels and the dugout rotates and slides with it. This in the same way that the foul poles are permanently connected to the outfield wall panels at the foul lines.
What's missing in SC is the ability to customize the basic layout and appearance of the stadiums.

I agree with that, and made so that the foul ground can't be pinched in until one panel after the dugout.

Actually, I've come to change my view on this some. We can actually advocate for a greater level of flexibility here. The dugouts have to remain the same in terms of depth and length. However, they can rotate and move toward and away from their respective baselines.
Think of the concept like this ...
There is a wall panel attached to each side of each dugout. That attachment is fixed. However, if you move the wall panel then that side of the dugout rotates and moves in/out respective the baseline. In this way, you can move the backstop wall section toward or away from home plate. Of course, there has to be a minimum and maximum amount of foul ground, but that would code up the same way that there is already a maximum and minimum distance for the outfield walls from home plate.
If you notice with real world baseball stadiums, the orientation of the dugouts are different. Some are rotated to face home plate, others parallel to the baseline, and a few the dugouts actually rotate a bit away from home plate. What I just described is how actual ballparks are designed. The dugouts have to remain straight, but the amount of foul territory between the dugouts and the baselines is significantly different.

You're picturing something like this
vs this
(again, using a couple of my renders for examples)

Odd placement of foul pole and that foul line seems a bit off!
I guess we wouldn't have to worry about balls slicing foul here!

lmao that's not even the worst one, it doesnt always interpret the created parameters correctly...I've done a couple where for whatever reason there was a foul pole in center field.

That would be an extreme shift, but if it is on the correct side of second base, I guess that would be legal!

Exactly, and by doing it this way, the designer has total control and would be able to replicate any stadium within the MLB rules. In short, the template can end up being whatever the designer wants. If the current bug with the overmodeled avoidance areas on wall angles is eliminated, then any historic stadium can be precisely replicated.
And that's really the main goal.
As Mel Brooks said, "If you're going to step up to the bell -- RING IT!"
However, it is a hard rule that the foul poles must remain in line with the baselines.

This thread has been hijacked by SDS paid posters discussing drivel. Guess they broke Stadium creator beyond repair this year. RIP

@Swan70s_XBL you guys here have zero intentions as to wanting this mode to be fixed. Yall just want to complain, make conspiracy theories and run off any communication.
Stuff gets old.

Thanks for proving my point, actually there are legal issues when not having a option in a game not work that you paid money for. it's called false advertising and ignoring the issue just makes it obvious. You can try and bury the issue with drivel about Uni's but we knew what was up when you combined stadium with uni's threads.
