The comeback mechanism that was in the game in 21' is fully back

Its an absolute joke of a "competitive" game. Ball drift on perfect user input pitches. The classic after 5 innings of no hitting your opponent he hits a curveball 4 feet out of the zone for a double and now your pitcher is going to throw the ball you line up on the corner of the zone for a ball every time until you are forced to throw a meatball. The DDA coding in the game is a joke I don't want to waste 35 minutes of my life to not have any control over the outcome... and it's the worst it has been in a long time in this game. Good luck getting more than 2-3 games in a row without being put in an unwinnable game where you have compete against an opponent and the game code. If you play this game online for more than a couple hours in a row you're going to say "well thats not normal" or "i didn't tell the game to do that" more than you feeling good about the outcome of your inputs. Don't even get me started on the integrity of the game either, I'll let the posts that come when the xim scripts become completely obvious in weekend league.

Why is it when ever a post is made like this it’s never by an elite player? It’s always a fringe player that thinks that they are better than they actually are. I find that interesting
-
Is comeback in the game when you are losing and make a comeback or only when you are winning? Curious minds want to know!
-
A little early in the year for the "game is forcing me to lose" posts, no?
-
Player A: Ok, Ive realized his pitching tendencies. Last inning I hit 2 balls hard but right at people. Lets hope he doesnt make a pitching change...good he didn't! TEES OFF
Played B: OMG SDS screwed me how did this guy start hitting so well???

With ambush hitting, and people being unwilling to admit they maybe become predictable after 5 innings, I assume there will be many many more of these posts.

This sounds like a simple misunderstanding of how quirks work.

@jts322_PSN can't agree more. This RNG based "simulation" baseball game is atrocious. Easily missed routine groundballs ( computer slows me down) BTW this setting is locked and can't change it. The CPU defense is outstanding even on rookie. I absolutely hate " competitive" locked game mode style. User pitching get nerfed if your doing to good against the cpu.
I believe there is in game manipulation and I believe SDS adjusts the sliders on this game based on the way the game is being played. EOMM. This BS needs to [censored] stop.

This is what a lifetime of "participation trophies" does to the mindset of our youth. None of them can fathom losing at anything, let alone have it be their fault.

The days of playing impossible NES games with no Internet access are hard to imagine for kids these days. The Debunking the difficulty videos on YT are great to reminisce and see the end of games we never did lol
-
@Tylerslikewhoa_XBL because the best players constantly put them on Twitter where more eyes see it than this website. Why is it always the offline players with a 3-34 record who hits .142 that think this doesn’t exist? Why is it they can add quirks to players that literally read “performs better when team is trailing” and you still can’t comprehend how easy it is to apply that same thing to en entire team? And in on final question, what year have you ever had a winning record? You are too scared to even play online, all you do is wonder lmao.

I had a game today in MS at the whales stadium 5mph wind blowing out to center, after taking a 2-0 lead in 1st they hit a tying homer in bot 1. I hit a 2rhr in 2nd to go up 4-2 and they answered back to tie at 4.did I get upset?did I think the game was trying to screw me? No,I thought it was good hitters taking advantage of favorable conditions and instead I went out hr,single homer and went up 7-4 then put them away in bot 3 to win.

I mean, there's a power creep. Right now pitcher's attributes are going to be fully felt.
The classic after 5 innings of no hitting your opponent he hits a curveball 4 feet out of the zone for a double and now your pitcher is going to throw the ball you line up on the corner of the zone for a ball every time until you are forced to throw a meatball.
Maybe use a better pitch sequence? Nothing's "making you" throw a meatball. Put him on, do a mound visit, and throw breaking stuff low to induce a 2-Ball. That's baseball
The DDA coding in the game is a joke I don't want to waste 35 minutes of my life to not have any control over the outcome... and it's the worst it has been in a long time in this game.
It's entirely possibly you just got beat...it happens, even to the best players. Buddy and I in Coop on the tail end of 24 beat GracefulSwan and his partner...game we had zero business winning, let alone actually competing in.
Good luck getting more than 2-3 games in a row without being put in an unwinnable game where you have compete against an opponent and the game code.
That sounds about the right amount of time to be moving up divisions. You're getting beat by better players
If you play this game online for more than a couple hours in a row you're going to say "well thats not normal" or "i didn't tell the game to do that" more than you feeling good about the outcome of your inputs.
I'm barely hanging on in allstar...and I've NEVER thought anything like that. Maybe on the check swing nonsense but that's it.
Don't even get me started on the integrity of the game either, I'll let the posts that come when the xim scripts become completely obvious in weekend league.
Now you're just being paranoid.
