Sliding

Every previous version Ive played, you could slide to the inside or outside of the base with the right joystick. Now I don't seem to be able to control slides at all on TS 25. I have checked the settings and made sure it's not computer controlled/assisted. The controls still show right joystick to control it. What changed?

I believe in player lock you have to hold r1 when you move the right stick

You have to hold L1 in first. And then it gives u the option to slide with R3.
