1.08 Thoughts?

Fielding wayyyy worse after patch lmao honestly didn't have much trouble untill they fropped this patch that was supposed to improve fielding .

Had Yelich in LF on RS today. Ball hit him in the head on a routine fly ball. Even with 2nd position penalty he's still a bronze fielder. It's such a basic catch.
And the animations when your infielder stops a ball then runs around it 30 times before actually picking it it up.
Fielding is broken.

My OF hasn’t missed one fly ball all year (diamond Grandy in LF, Rookie Mantle in CF and diamond CarGo in RF-all secondaries) and only Mantle bobbled a grounder in the gap. I’ve robbed a HR in CF with CarGo in an Event game and even made a diving catch with an ECI in LF with JD Martinez in an Event game. I must have gotten the only good copy of this game.

I am one of the last people you will ever hear complain about this game. All the complaining about Good/Okay contact and pitching and whatever else is ridiculous and people just need to get better. But catching a fly ball is now a nightmare. I was a disaster last night and so were my opponents. In 2 RS games, I’d say me and my opponent combined for 7 amazingly terrible fly ball errors, none of which were even sort of reasonable. I get when you’re running full speed and just barely get to the ball; that can be an error. But routine fly balls are pretty bad right now. If they could just fix that and improve the baserunning weirdness that happens too often, the game will be awesome.

Maybe there is something to the secondary thing. Had a game against a WS opponent and I had 2 and he had one. His was Trout which was primary position and mine was Soto and Yelich, both primaries.

Post application of fix 1.08 - fielding is very glitchy. Players direction change is choppy and herky jerky. Sometimes they even miss catching the balls. Whens patch 1.09 coming - hopefully soon
