Vision stat. Can someone explain?

I seen from a top player that the vision stat this year is just the outside ring, so is the contact stat the actual pci size. Like Yelich doesn’t have great vision but his pci is fairly big because of his contact?

I believe they said in one of the early streams that outer PCI is vision (where your player is looking) and inner PCI is contact (where your bat will go). But who knows these days.

I actually thought it was opposite. Vision is the PCI but good contact helps you make contact outside of it.

Yeah that’s what I think it was in the past, it kind of seems like what I said though now.

Vision is the outer PCI and has to do with fouling off pitches

Contact is the inner PCI and it has to do with getting better contact results
