2nd Inning showdown
-
Sweet, I got Giles.
This is gonna be a walk in the park baby.
-
won mine first try.. feel i got lucky pulling Giles.
-
Would love to know if there's a correlation between your first pick and the final boss. Sounds like maybe Hanley leads to Giles?

Nope. I picked Hanley. I got Feller
-
OK then. Was worth a shot.

Yea I faced Feller, Barnes with the first boss, didn't look at the second boss to see who it was.
why not?. All you would have to do is score 1 run in like 13 outs

I always skip, just force of habit.

Ahh ok. Yeah you definitely couldve made it a hell of a lot easier for yourself lol

I picked Carter and Feller was my 1st boss, so I'm assuming I'll get Giles in the final one. So far up to 9 runs I'll 100% beat it first try.
-
Got to 400 stars in 1st inning without showdown. Plan on doing the same thing again.
-
I needed 7 runs (yes I attempted all the missions) and pushed him to 125 pitches with almost no confidence and maybe 20% energy left and he was still throwing 100mph gassers.
Ended up losing 15-14.
Oh well
-
Just lost my first attempt, Price was the final boss
It actually seems easy, I just really butchered it.
The story of my boss battles is me thinking "Don't double play, don't double play, just don't swing at low pitches, easy"
Then I swing at a low pitch and ground into a double play
Oh and fly out after fly out, but I have learnt to accept those. -
Wow. I lost on the first mini boss. That's embarrassing.
-
Took me 3 tries kept getting burnt on certain moments for diamond players and grounding into double plays in the final showdown
-
I'm sure it will take me several attempts to do it, but good to know who the bosses are. I'll hold off for awhile before attempting.
-
Final boss is either Feller, Price, or Giles.
After the draft you can tell right away who the final boss is by looking at the team logo at the bottom left. It will either be in this case an Indians, Dodgers, or Blue Jays logo.
-
I beat it first try last night against Feller. Went in down 15-11. He ended up walking and hitting multiple batters until I was down 15-14 with bases loaded and 9 outs left i finally got my first hit that went past diving outfielder and scored my two runs to win it.
I couldn’t believe how wild he was, he just kept walking in runs for me. I’m usually not that disciplined, but he hardly threw a strike. I could have had a few more walks but I swung at ball 4 multiple times for strike outs or ground outs
-
My final boss was Giles. I went in down 15-7 and won with 7 outs to go.
The REALLY odd thing was my 2nd boss battle. It was against Shane Bieber and I had 13 outs to take the lead, but the score was 0-0. I’m not complaining but that had to have been a glitch, no?
-
If only the bosses in the divisional showdowns were this wild after 140 pitches.
