@BillyPic5_PSN No not really , just playing with players I like and having fun instead of grinding for players I won’t use to then force myself so I can complete a set and get a card I’ll never bother with.
I enjoy the mini seasons and conquest maps mostly. Short games , constant changing opponents and venues. Doing the same showdown 4 times for those cards to then use those 4 cards that I didn’t want in the first place isn’t my idea of fun. To each their own , but grinding for the sake of grinding isn’t for me.

You almost have to wonder if the person at SDs was high when they came up with this idea.
“Play the game your way, well except for this program where you have to beat the same showdown 4 times all while getting no TA progress.”

@GradektheBard_PSN This is really my big issue so far this year, same with Diamond Quest. I don't want to grind the same thing over and over and for DQ I don't even get the reward most time?! No thank you

@trfatboy22_PSN but, you don’t have to with DQ (the cards are on the market if you want them). With breakout, you have no option other than doing a dumb showdown 4x.

@GradektheBard_PSN Nah, cards being on the market isn't an option IMO, that being said I understand what you are saying and I think they are both issues. I would have rather done 4 different showdowns than have to do the same one 4 times. While hating showdown anyway

No, there is a repeatable quest but it would take 4,000 PXP with spring breakout players to equal one successful attempt of the Showdown. But you won't have many cards to get that PXP with since the only place to get spring breakout players I believe is the Program and the Pack earned by beating the showdown.

@urbanphilosophy_XBL people struggle with this mightily. Stuck in the loop of using cards they hate just to get cards they won’t use. That said the first collection isn’t far of man. 4/4 is just around the corner. So set collections are probably bigger than ever this year.

I was told that the repeatable quest was my option and I should just "shut up and grind".
