Storylines Extremely Well Done

Since it was first introduced, it has been my favorite feature in the show. Even though I have been somewhat, perhaps too, critical of the game's underachieving areas, this is one that I hope sticks around for the foreseeable future. The attention to detail of the players' stadiums and fans, along with the storytelling of Bob Kendrick, is truly a great experience, even if they are somewhat short. I hope that the player models and MLB stadiums can get the same polish and attention to detail in the future.

I like that we get the story from Bob Kendrick, and then we play the moment. It helps to get me invested in the moment and it doesn't feel generic like most other moments.

The WWE game has a similar mode, with Paul Heyman doing a fantastic job giving history of all the influence in wrestling from the Samoan families....and then in true 2K fashion they absolutely ruin it with poorly designed timed sequences that are subject to the RNG of if the AI feels like countering or not. SDS does it better for sure.
