They have never had a chance like this to advertise their game on a national spotlight and bring in new players. This tournament has the potential to either make or break this franchise
I agree that this can really show some bugs in the game but I'm not sure I would call this the national spotlight. how many people will actually watch this nonsense over the weekend on twitch? A couple thousand? Seeing as the MLB is promoting it there will definitely be more than just this little gaming community but I don't think most people will waste their time watching athletes play a video game.

Way to prove me right bud.
Too bad you being right means absolutely nothing to no one

Yeah who would want to watch professional athletes play a video game when they can watch professional video gamers screaming into a camera and asking for donations? Way more entertaining. /sarcasm

Weird because multiple people have agreed with or supported my OPINIONS on this topic whereas you only seem to want to play contrary Mary. I can say the sky is blue in my next post and you’ll find a way to argue that as well.

I can't imagine anyone doing either of those two things. Why would you watch someone play a video game if you could just go play it yourself? LOL I literally don't understand that concept. And why in the world would you pay someone money through a donation so they can play more video games instead of getting a real job?

Why choose one when you can do both...I have two TVs setup in my living room, one to play games on and one to watch tv. I can watch the tournament while working on the second inning

Weird because multiple people have agreed with or supported my OPINIONS on this topic whereas you only seem to want to play contrary Mary. I can say the sky is blue in my next post and you’ll find a way to argue that as well.
You don’t express opinions you scream at walls and use extremisms. You bring nothing but constant complaints using gross exaggerations, and the people agreeing with you are the same usual suspects that we can all name because that’s what they do. Like someone else said, people who will watch and already have the game already made up their minds about the game, those who don’t will watch for 5 minutes as a novelty. It won’t get near a million views, so it won’t « make or break » them. The only thing it will prove is that those « game breaking » bugs that do happen are few and far between, and that « it chooses who wins » is a loser’s excuse.

Go through my post history and you’ll see you are way off base. I spend my time on these forums mostly helping others and expressing my opinions/ideas.
The only complaint I’ve ever had was in regards to a perfect flyball by Torres. Only because SDS said in their own stream any perfect flyball hit from a player over 80pwr would be an automatic home run. I call other on their b.s. and don’t mind when others call me on mine. I’ve never complained about losing a game or blaming a loss on a bug.
Stop trying to police these forums, it’s just as annoying and useless as the complaining you’re trying to stop. Thanks and have a beautiful day

Fair enough. But the 80 power p/p in the stream didn’t say automatic, but pretty close to, something to the effect of « it should be », IIRC. I think the results are fine, it’s the feedback displayed that is bugged. That’s why I pay it no mind, because when I hit a p/p lazy flyout dead CF it never feels like a great swing. 9 out of 10 no doubters are usually good or squared, rarely p/p fly balls. P/p liners and grounders do feel real though relative to the « feel ».

The real question is... will there be twitch drops?
