Please nerf these disgraceful stadiums

@SaveFarris_PSN Yes, but no
… It is not realistic. In 2024 for the whole MLB there were 1,23 HR per Game. Coors hat a 7 percent higher average than that. Even I can top those numbers playing at Shield easily. And I do not think that MLB the Show should play like MLB the Homerun Simulator. I get that you like it but that does not mean that I have to like it too … And I do not have to like the fact (try and look it up in the ingame stats department) that Homeruns are hit at an absurd level …. and the main reason are those disgraceful stadiums
@GoozeFn_PSN That logic is crazy. I have to accept a broken system because it levels out? Last question: Is feedback only okay if it matches your opinion? Feedback also does not level out

@YOSHI24_XBL Not sure what you mean by making it personal.

@YOSHI24_XBL How about just stop being a baby …

@SaveFarris_PSN, even with the increased frequency with which home runs are hit now in MLB, they still accounted for only 13.7% of all hits in the 2024 regular season. In MLB The Show 24, home runs accounted for 33.1% of all hits. Sometimes having fun turns into a problem.
And no one pays $70-100 bucks for the thrill of watching a can of corn floating along at 84mph scrape a wall on the way down.

Last post: I think I made my point, maybe my feedback is read, maybe not.
My wish is still up and as we know: Wishes sometimes come true. I am still looking forward for the new game with some nice improvements …
-
@YOSHI24_XBL It’s not a broken system. That’s your wrong opinion.
-
@YOSHI24_XBL OK, I stand by that comment.

If rumors on twitter by the people who played the game last week are true, max elevation will be capped at 3K (they were not sure about Coors) … That would be huge news for realistic gameplay (and me
… my biggest wish for 25)
-
Max elevation stadiums are for dudes who revel in the artificially inflated home run distances that make them feel like they've accomplished something. I would much rather hit a 500-foot home run in a stadium that doesn't have max elevation, now that's an accomplishment. It would be nice to have some filter where you can filter out what stadiums you don't want to play in online matches. If I wanted to play home run derby, I would just enter that game mode.
-
@JCRated1982_XBL One night after this awesome TA stream … I really hope that this 3K-cap is true … I do not care, if that NL stadium with the short porch is in there. There was no problem imo with dimensions, but high elevation in custom stadiums

I wonder if the Lichtenstein park is getting nerfed too. I assume not since its ms only but man that place is absurd to hit in.
No need to nerf either Coors or Laughing Mountain though, they both play fine and are what a change of pace should be.
The other two are trash though.
-
The stadiums should 100% get nerfed. I gave up a 75 mph very early home run in Shield Woods about a week ago and it completely flipped momentum.
-
Although they better not get rid of the ultimate grind park, Costco.
-
I played someone that had somehow made a completely pitch black stadium where you couldn’t even see the pitcher’s wind up and just all of a sudden saw a white ball as it whizzed by me. This is why I don’t like these stadiums in ranked. Offline - go wild…But online should just be MLB parks.
-
@TheBigPapa55_PSN That was also my thought too, but if you look: You either nerf them or not… It should not be homer heaven just for us to get faster grinding done.
I was really happy SDS confirmed that yesterday, my biggest wish … by far.

It can still be made but max elevation will be 3000. They made a point to say on the stream yesterday that "enough is enough" with the stat grinds at Costco.
