Better Co-op rewards or Separate Rewards
-
Co-op in mlb the show is honestly the most pointless game mode besides if you just want to play with friends. I think that for the show 25 we should get at least better rewards or give us a completely separate rewards from 1v1. Then co-op would actually mean something and would make playing with your friends better. Also, for missions can you add co-op to those for progression because in 24 it’s just 1v1 and other modes which doesn’t really make sense me.

Totally agree, it makes no sense that Co-op does not count towards some missions when single player online does. It’s not like you can pick who you are playing. The only mode that should be restricted from having online gameplay count towards missions is playing against friends.
The separate rewards is also a great idea, currently there is no incentive to play Co-op, it’s just there. By adding separate rewards it creates a demand to play Co-op.

Issue becomes when they assign an award to Co-Op and everyone starts complaining "That's my guy! Why are you forcing me to play Co-Op?!?"

Plus there's too many freezes and if your opponent quit out you get a cool down penalty and they don't seem to want to fix that

Exactly this. People complain about enough about being "forced" to play online. Imagine the complaints when they have to socialize with someone else in order to unlock an exclusive reward.
That and the fact that some of us have lives offline and asking people to grind ranked programs, BR programs, events, offline programs and now co-op programs is a bit much.
