Just curious what everyone thinks. I've used Posada the most. Just got Pudge and I like what I've seen so far.

@blu_birdie43_PSN There’s an argument to be made that Adley is the best with the pop time quirk.

Gotta try Bob Gibson OOP at C with Peña verlander double boost lvl 3 gets 45 contact 30 power right clutch speed fielding and getting SBs at 86 speed not even lvl 1 yet. Throwing out runners with 99 arm and hitting HRs even verse lefties. What a surprise my new favorite.

Posada’s defense isn’t great but it’s good enough, I throw people out just fine with him. Hitting wise he’s hands down the best & it’s not close.

Universally considered the best catcher in the history of MLB -- Johnny Bench. Best combination of throwing, fielding, framing, calling a game, and hitting.

I'm the only one that will side with Pudge. Only catcher I've hit better with is Cal. And obviously Pudge is elite defensively.

So yeah it's Pudge until they release a 99 Raleigh.

Remember when computer was recommending Bench in RF awhile back when that series came out. Just something about a switch catcher with speed can steal. Should be fasted in game with that boost

Literally no idea what you're talking about.

    1. What computer?
    2. Bench? He's not a RF and he's not a switch hitter. And he's not fast.

He’s not going to be number one, but Sanchez as a righty hits as well as Trea for me.

I just got posada to P5 so will start using Adley some.

    I usually bat posada cleanup

I think catcher pop time is a significant quirk but posada is the better hitter over Adley. There are some people who have mastered stealing. Like you can quick pitch, slide step, pitch out and they're still save 100%...i think I'll typically start posada and if people are going crazy on the bases I'll bring in Adley to try and control it better

    1.Posada
    2.Adley
    3. Joe Mauer (I love his swing.)
    4. Bench
Gibson and IRod I wanted to like, but I just can’t get anything going with either. IRod’s defense is best in the game, but offensively he just ain’t it IMO

Posada is extreme pull hitter vs Righties

Best attribute in the game for anyone that is late on inside fastballs

The 2nd best catcher swing us JT Realmuto with Pull hitter.

So i run either JT or Gary Carter as my back up catcher as both have Pop Time quirk

But Gary can play Corner OF and 1st which makes him a better bench option imo.

The Mauer swing… god I love it.

Posada all day for me, though!

Will Yadier be coming back in ’25? How long do we have to wait for retired players to return to the game?
