@Dolenz_PSN hoping so. The Padres had heaps last year iirc. Soto, Nando, Manny, Cronenworth, Hader, Snell?. This year we got Jackson (who I'm far from mad about)
-
Manny Avacado for the Padres.
-
3 Aaron Judge

No 99 Elly.
No 99 Cy YoungBut 3 Judge 99s

@Dolenz_PSN id say having no Alec Burleson card other than live series and masyn winn and Donovan only getting 89s so far
-
@DaKid24167_XBL I’ve enjoyed the Winn pitching card, though. But yeah… disappointed that there’s no better offensive card for him.

@BiigD008_XBL True, but it was the easiest extreme program ever.
And Acuna is the best card in the game IMO. Totally worth the grind.

I still say Elly is a lock eventually, but it will be too late.
But the other ones I wanted/deserved for a Finest like Skubal, Sale, Skenes, Duran, Raleigh are not looking good.
-
Giants - No Barry Bonds, Tim Lincecum, Jeff Kent, Matt Williams, Candy Maldonado ... I could go on and on.
-
And to think our two teams (Giants and Red Sox) are two of the most successful franchises over the past 20 years, and then they still get screwed over by SDS.
Edit - Probably shouldn't bring up Bonds because he hated having his likeness used even way before all the steroid stuff. Only chance we have for Bonds is if he's starting to feel a little poor. I bet SDS would shell out quite a bit for him. It would sell the product that year on his name alone.

So we're fans of both the Sox and the Giants? How cool. And I don't necessarily think the Sox have been screwed over. After all, Ted's been in the game. But there's a good list of Sox that would be nice to have in the game -- Tony C., Jackie Jensen, Rico Petrocelli to name three.
As far as Barry goes, you're right. It's up to him. For what it's worth, I sent him a note through his website. If a bunch of fans did that, maybe he'd change his mind.

Ely will most likely be in one of these programs coming up. They couldnt give everyone a TA card

Buster Posey, Madison Bumgarner, Barry Zito, Wil Clark, Kevin Mitchell
-
But they gave the Reds one to Spencer Steer? Bizarre decision. It wasn't like Elly had anyone close to him.
-
The Sox teams I'm referring to our most recent Legends from 2000 to 2020:
Manny
Pedroia
Varitek
Papelbon
Nomar
Lowe
WakefieldI could keep going. (Purposely left off Schilling)
The 80s are loaded with options too like Ellis Burks, Greenwell, Oil Can Boyd, and many others.
And yes I want Ted back and Yaz.
-
Hard to complain as a fan of the Yanks. It started with Jeter last year, but adding other big names from that 90s dynasty like Bernie Williams (my favorite player of all-time), Paul O'Neill and Andy Pettitte was so awesome. They even brought back CC Sabathia. I just wish that Tino Martinez and El Duque were still in the game, but can't be too greedy.
I do think Tim Hill deserved some kind of diamond card especially after how well he pitched in the postseason.

Yes. And thanks for admitting that!
I know many put more emphasis on the HUGE superstar names when it comes to new legends, but honestly each team could use more Bernies/O'Neills/Pettittes to really add some roster depth.
-
@Dolenz_PSN For Cards, no MVP Goldy, no 99 Edmonds, Milestone Nado was too little too late. I would've taken a Troy Glaus over Ludwick lol
-
@DaKid24167_XBL Pallante being one of Cards best pitchers this year, only lives series. Burleson one of Cards 3 best hitters this year, only live series
