Force Freezing

I am curious if anyone has seen or heard of a way to freeze the game while diving and catching the ball. The reason I am asking is that I am currently in a freeze-off against someone.
I am playing against someone with an extremely good record on Legend with a top 100 icon. At the beginning of the game he paused it for about a minute. As we started playing, I noticed that his batters have really bad batting averages compared to someone with a record like his. He is late on every fastball and swings at terrible pitches. When he is pitching, he mostly pitches fastballs straight down the middle. It has taken me a little while to adjust to the pitch speeds on Legend so I am behind a bit on the pitches.
At one point, I hit a pop-up in foul ground, he ran around in circles, and he tried to purposefully make a diving catch. Two batters later, I hit a line out to the outfield, and he makes a diving catch and purposefully replays it. The game is frozen now.
The whole game seems so sketchy. I have no intention of forfeiting the game unless he wants to have this freeze off until Friday. What do you think?

Report him. I think you gave enough good reasons in your post that he should be suspended or banned.

If the game is froze; how did you report him?
Also, I have heard that a game could freeze after initiating a replay.

He’s 100% a cheater. He forfeited. I’m posting my own game history and it’s my last game. Every game he has ends with a freeze off it seems.
