It would be odd not having the mvps in the program. But I expect Edman and bull pen guys from la and lindor maybe winker and Diaz for NY
Winker didn't do anything in the NLCS so I would be surprised if he got a card and Lindor is probably getting the finest card so also would be surprised if he got one. The Mets don't really have a Standout player from that series because their pitchers walked 42 batters in that series
Diaz had back to back 2 inning appearances, plus a save in g2. All without giving up a run. Thats a standout player
marte had 4 hits and 3 doubles with 3 RBI in game 5. thats a standout player
Vientos and Alonso both had big moments, but already have postseason cards
Lindors leadoff HR g2 is card worthy, but he also has a recent 99 and a finest and there are other deserving options
Oh and Winker had a .500 obp for the series and a big triple in g5You look a complete buffoon here because you are more concerned with bashing the mets than sounding like a knowledgeable baseball fan
I wasn't bashing the Mets I was just stating that they sucked and no one really deserves a card. I think SDS thinks so too just because the lindor card has NLDS listed on it and the Winker card is based off of 1 game. Walking 42 batters is unheard of in a Postseason series

And the dodgers walked 37 batters
You know what else is pretty unheard of in a playoff series? having a game where you struck out 0 times while scoring 12 runs. You should probably stop making an [censored] of yourself with your ignorance

As a Mets fan Mets deserved to lose the series to the dodgers but still makes no sense they couldn’t find an additional LCS card for the Mets and not Lindor again

Who would've you liked to see? Alot of people say Diaz but I really don't see anyone using his card with only 2 fastballs and a slider, but doesn't he throw a change up in the real game or no?

Diaz was an obvious choice because what he did was pretty noteworthy with the two extended outings and a save as well. And there isnt a 99 Diaz this year and he doesnt deserve a finest so it seemed natural to give him a card here.
Starling marte is another obvious one, as mentioned a 4 hit, 3 double, 3 RBI game in a game that was an extraordinary team offensive performance
Its just a weird choice to only give 1 card for the actual NLCS when there were multiple worthy recipients, including players who arent in line for Finest that have no high 90s cards this year
No reason not to have given a 3rd Dodger card either

Also keep in mind a large portion of the player base does not regularly play online so Diaz's pitch mix being not well suited for online play is 100% irrelevant.

Well the Phillies only got 1 card in the NLDS program when Zach Wheeler should've gotten a card and Bryce Harper could've also gotten a card but obviously SDS doesn't want to give any 99s to the Phillies except for Castellanos

Wheeler not getting a card was a joke and I called that out at the time. He 100% deserved one

Lindor getting a card here is beyond strange. I guess he'll get 3 different 99s? Has that ever happened before?
He has to get a Finest. He was 2nd in the entire NL MVP race. Totally bizarre. Like others have said, Edwin Diaz made way more sense.
