SDS - Please Add Missions To Padres/Dodgers and Tigers/ Guardians

I never said they were difficult. I completed all of the ones I needed for the Yankees/Royals and Mets/Phillies series. Those programs had a nice mix of Moments/Missions.
I just find Moments a waste of time (especially 12 of them). I'd like to use and parallel all of the new cards we have through Missions instead.

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN They weren't difficult but not a single one of those moments was fun either. IMO that matters more for a video game.
I did the Padres/Dodgers ones and enjoyed them well enough, but I still enjoy moments.
I'll take some moments over the Beltre program's missions any day (accumulate stats with 4 different teams) or the Mike Schmidt evolution missions.
-
I'm enjoying the moments. I wish all those new postseason ones were that way.
-
I like the post season moments in general, as long as they do a good job of telling the story of the series and focus on key at bats and not 'get x TBs with the team'
The Dodgers series moments wore thin, but the Guardians ones were good, even if Lane's first 3 at bats were all singles in the gap that the slow [censored] runner would have been safe on 3rd all three times had he tried. Should have just labeled that one as a hit a HR, because thats what it was.
The only thing they should change imo is have the conquest give some progress, so you can choose to do the conquest instead of specific moments or missions (I already have every Philly pitcher at p1 or higher, I'd rather pitch guys I havent used)

If they added moments to these programs then things would still not be consistent as they would become the only postseason programs where you could skip program tasks.
Should they then add more moments to the programs that require stat missions to be completed so we can skip some of those?

No, they should add more missions so we can skip Moments. Agree to disagree.

I have two issues with Moments. One, in most cases they are recreating a past event. (Like hit a 9th inning walkoff homer). So, give me a “card with numbers” that will get the job done. In this case, the power should be 125. The pitcher should be throwing pitches down the middle. (Again, it happened. I’m recreating). I’m currently working thru the “Milestone” moments. Pillar’s “card” isn’t enough to get some of the homers moments done (in a reasonable amount of time).
Two, perfect/perfect should be programmed to satisfy the “moment”. Whatever it is.
My two cents…

CPU pitching and hitting in moments is obnoxious. Fielding can be ridiculous too. They definitely tend to feel more like work than fun. The only plus of moments is that they allow you to test drive new cards but otherwise they are just a nuisance.
-
Agreed on the ridiculous and obnoxious comments! That kind of stuff needs to be in the Extreme program. To me, in that program, anything goes. Bronze pitchers dotting corners? Bronze fielders getting gold gloves? Fine. Have at it.
For typical moments, if I play “normal” baseball, work the count, only swing at strikes, etc., I should satisfy the Moment in a couple of tries. At most.
When I read on here that some take an hour to get a Moment done, I salute them. And then shake my head at SDS for making them that way. Unnecessarily.

A moment should be a moment, not "get 16 TB in one game" with a team. That especially should be an optional moment, because that ain't a moment.

Well technically they are called MOMENTS, not Moment. The fact that they're plural kinda gives them free reign to do what they want with them.

And Moment is not a set period of time. One of the definitions is
"a comparatively brief period of time"
So by that definition a single game in a 162 game season is a moment.

Compared to the beginning of human civilization, all of organized baseball history is just a moment.

Theme song to March Madness is "One Shining Moment". Nobody bats an eye at that...

Yes. I like testing certain cards. However, most of the time, I hit better with the player in the Moment or even the Showdown.
IE: Retro Finest McCann. EVERY HIT in a Moment or in the Showdown with him was a homerun.
Picked him first out of his pack. Needed 5 hits for his mission. Had 20 ABs with him before I got my FIRST hit.

I can’t hit a homer off Clase for anything
