glitch ?

i just started playing mlb 24 again and i tried putting in reward set luke weaver, fine series andrew miller and soriano from the chase pack (yes i got him !) on the same team but its asking me to swap out a wildcard slot player since i only have 2

they are all set 3 so should this not be needed ?
