Because technically it's still season 3 just the 2nd part of the XP reward path. Plus we get double XP until Tuesday and then double XP AGAIN on Friday so that's 3 weekends in a row with double XP

It’s funny that people have been brainwashed into thinking double XP is a reward when last year normal XP was the equivalent to or maybe even better than double XP this year. Taking something away only to give it back under the guise of a bonus is pure lunacy. However it’s clearly good enough to fool a decent sized chunk of the player base that feels SDS can do no wrong. I’ll admit I’ve been very critical of this year’s game because it’s done a lot of shady, underhanded, lazy things that in past iterations would have never been a thing. Other sports games have set the bar so painfully low that SDS decided to see how far they could push things before long time players revolted.

I mean, I think its fine there wasn't a head start boost. The XP path is short and will be completed with low effort.
I was still a little bummed it wasn't there, but it was more of a shoulder shrug because its fairly irrelevant.
XP patch was a issue in season 1 but it hast been since. They screwed up, they adjusted. S3.1 was easily faster than last year, but the wheel rewards were worse. Which is a trade off I can live with.
Some people here though act like people who complain only do so because they are stupid and dont see the obvious things SDS is doing. "Oh its not a new season! Of course they wouldn't do a headstart!"
I would wager the poster was fully aware it wasn't a new season and didnt need someone to explain that to them. I didn't expect a new mini season, but I was still understandably disappointed when there wasnt one. I of course got the same 'its not a new season' explanation from the weird simp. -
Also, it would be nice if you could filter your inventory by PXP?

I get what people are saying. My opinion is it is just another great incentive to finish programs on time
