Why can’t we buy stubs?

I just noticed we can’t buy stubs anymore? Why? They only have one option and you can only use it once. SDS don’t like money anymore?

This is the third time I've seen someone post this; yet, everytime I check, I'm capable of buying however many stubs I want. Maybe it's like gambling sites and they cut people off at a certain point?

I believe that Australia is actively trying to outlaw all microtransactions in E-rated games. They already banned Sony's digital refund policy and seem to actually care about consumer rights, forcing companies to abide by them. Hats off to Australia, because the United States doesn't seem to care.

I just checked (in Australia) and cant buy stubs.
I checked the ps store and they are happily selling 2k [censored], but the NBA game is rated m for gamblingprobably an interesting conundrum now where mlb would want the game rated E, but at the same time you can be [censored] sure they want the stub sales too...

Genshin is rated PG and has mtx enabled and that as an astronomically more predatory system (and I am aware the game is completely able to be played F2P and is even decently balanced for it)
Ok its not Australia law causing this, there is a soccer game that is g rated like the show and has currency for sale

Just an FYI there is no need to buy stubs when you can make them easily just by playing the game and flipping cards

I don't personally see why anyone would buy stubs, but to each their own.

@sbchamps17_NSW For a long time, I thought buying stubs was a necessary way to get cards. This year, because I came in with the PS Plus, I decided to let things fall where they may and play no money spent. Not only am I doing pretty good (just got Matt Carpenter today), but I'm having a lot more fun. There is stuff I'd love to get that I probably won't be able to (like Babe Ruth), but no biggie.
