Awful idea

Maybe I am a bit biased and like things the traditional way but this new season has got to be the worst things I have ever seen. I’ve been playing for many years now and having to restart after every season just seems like I’ve wasted a lot of time. This game has finally hit rock bottom. I make World Series, go flawless, and grind countless hours every season to achieve nothing in the long run. See ya game

Yeah, not very popular idea IMO.

It's by far the most unpopular gameplay decision they've made and will not go back on it. I'll defend them and advocate for standardization and a set like system but the current way is bogus. Also removing your wildcards just so you can earn them back is very lame. I understand it's easier to get them this season but why even bother locking them in the first place? Just a flop of a system

Was happy to see this isnt the case. I really only want wildcards early in the season anyway, and now we have them

Are we sure this isn’t a glitch? I hope not but what’s the point of the other wild card slots to be unlocked?

There is an SDS post about it in this forum. I assume it was a glitch initially but they wisely chose to keep it
