Balders Gate AI and mechanics but for coaches and player interactions with the umpires......I would rather have the most unique and entertaining baseball video game experience than new content or player cards.
This is a video game first, and should be treated as such. It's 2024.........If RTTS played like a RPG hybrid with the current baseball game we have you could have a game of the year situation brewing over the next couple of years.
Being able to manipulate the NPCs in such a way ON THE FIELD would be wild! Not for PvP but for CPU games. I mean you could totally implement a cool interaction for PvP as well and make the players use their coaches for something but in this scenario you'd use this gameplay system for PvE.
It would effect your season and play through. In BG every playthrough is different. Your player gets ejected and suspended because of how you handled your interactions or your coach gets ejected on your attempt to back him up. Maybe your coach's attributes and good interaction gets you just an erection and not a suspension.
You got the money. Don't buy any more rights you don't already own. Just make better game.
If you build it they will come.

EA tried to go this way with their Be A Pro, and all it did was get super repetitive after your rookie season. If they were generated dynamically and contextually based on the results of your recent play/game then maybe it could work? But that would require a heavy investment into CPU logic.

@Sarge1387_PSN
Yeah there's likely a lot that goes into it. I think even half of what BG or even something like fallout mixed into this game would be big.I don't play other sports games anymore as I don't believe they are as entertaining these days.
