I'm so sick of people dashboarding, and don't understand how the programmers can't counter or disable it. It shouldn't be that hard. I was playing in the Moonshot Event. I was down 1-0 on my last at bat with a runner on with Francisco Linder up. This [censored] did something else I hate, which is bring in a brand new pitcher on a 2-strike count. I hit the first pitch for a game-winning HR, and this loser dashboards the game -- so Lindor's HR doesn't count, which affects advancing in about 3 different programs. It's such a stupid, petty thing for people to do and should be disabled.

You cannot fix dashboarding in any software, you can only make the software count stats earlier

I agree 100%... But what are your suggestions? I am not sure what they could do, other than implement a cool down period, which I would be in favor of.

Not a software engineer... but... I work in Software Solutions... They realistically could count the variable that is engaged that produces the HR as a completed HR and make that count towards the final game all at the same time. That way as soon as the player hits the button to hit the ball, it is all logged in the system... However, The delay that results in the issue is probably due to a process they configured, and in order to make that change in the software they would have rewrite that code... and we all know SDS isn't rewriting a code that only effects the top 1% of users

Also, this is exactly why I don't play this game online. It's not worth the headache... If you just love baseball, and have fun with it, this game is second to none in repeat play ability

It's rare but what if it is a wall scraper that has a chance to be robbed. At what point do they log that into their system as a HR? I would say that it is not possible to log it immediately when it is hit.

At that point you are worrying about exceptions to the rules. Or counting the stat and then taking it away again if it gets robbed.

I am not saying that it is not a frustrating occurrence, but I don't believe there is a simple fix

Not gonna get fixed. Another part to this is quitting the game with no penalty. They penalize you HEAVILY if you leave games in coop but you can dashboard and quit ranked solo games left and right with zero issues.
There numerous other issues that have never been fixed and SDS shows no urgency to fix them.

This issue is just one of the many reasons my friends and gamer acquaintances stopped and never played this game again. The most unpolished system in modern day gaming. And they have a [censored] ton of money, you can't tell me otherwise. The dev staff members probably only make $20/hr no overtime 4 days a week but the upper management takes in the cash and doesn't give a [censored]. This game will die when they decide health insurance for their staff isn't worth it and they have no staff cause they quit. Happens to many franchises.
