World Series MVP problems

Two years in a row I've won the WS and the MVP has gone to a player (different both times) who went 1-2 but because he hit .500 the game auto locks him as the best player.

This is really unfortunate while I try to put my best prospects/players in position to set up their Awards collection throughout their career.

I agree. Though I only encountered this once when surprisingly a player who had two pinch hit appearances and reached both times got the MVP over another player who had a .400 BA but drove in ten runs with three homers. The 1.000 pinch hitter merely reached base and scored once, but did not drive in any runs.

The game code should be redesigned to bias more toward producing runs, which is the whole point of the actual game of baseball. Batting average is nice, but there is no team in the game who wouldn't prefer a batter with a .250 BA with 75 RBI and an OBA of .450 vice another batter with a BA of .325 with 45 RBI and an OBA of .425.
