Hear me out

Ok so this is my first time on DD and everyone this year has complained about SDS putting out the same cards. I've mainly played 2k over the years and have got bored of it and have enjoyed this year of The Show more than I expected. But I had a thought on how they can come out with a new program... (Not sure if this has been done before) What if they did a All-Time Teams with ever position filled with the greatest player the team has ever had. Not all cards have to be 99 but lets say Giants for example we have Barry Bonds at 99 but then we have Willie McCovey as a 92 at first base. Not every team has had a legend on there team but it would give us a great experience on the teams greatest players as well give us new cards. SDS if you take this idea I just want 1 million stubs haha lol. Whoever reads all this thanks I'd like to hear some feedback or thoughts on the idea.

The monkey wrench in this idea is that they simply don't have the rights to use all former players. Each player has to be signed to an individual contract.
Even if they did offer contracts to everyone who used to play, there is also the chance that some would simply not accept the terms of the agreement.

@SakAttack87_PSN Mhm i didn't think of that! Well that kind of blows this out of the water!!!

It's their likeness rights that are the issue. As long as they use real cards with their pictures and make the character models look like the player then they have to have those rights.
A game like Out of The Park Baseball I think can have all of the classic players because they don't actually use their likeness. In Perfect Team (their ultimate team mode) they use generic cards with no faces. Here is an example of how they do it
You'll notice that anybody who is not a current player has a generic card. They can use their name and their stats for the cards but by not using their likeness they can include more.

See something like this I feel could work where they have the replica of players. They've done this in the Past with Barry Bonds I don't remember the name they gave his card but it was clearly him!

It was Reggie Stocker and they made him RH instead of lefty. But it was definitely him.

Go to the former players tab in the animations they have way more players available at their disposal I hate to say it but SDS has simply gotten complacent/lazy

The bigger issue is Sony has gotten cheap

With how bad Sony's live service games have been going, I'm somewhat optimistic that this game gets a facelift across-the-board next year. I'm tired of seeing PS3 textures being used.
