New cards for 8/2 - I'll do my best to include them all in the first few posts
-
@Skarmaen_MLBTS Only Fingers from the 15 or so cards we’ve seen.
-
Al West cards released. I love Michael Young cards and I am one of the select few that does. I p5 his standout card earlier this year and I thought his milestone card from 12 wins in the event from last year to be one of the best best cards in the game which no one used

No pitchers in either division is interesting.
TA 1.1
TA 1.2
TA 1.3
TA 2.1... all averaged between 8-9 pitchers each.
TA 2.2 had 13 pitchers so TA 2.3 may just be regression to the mean.

First post update with AL West. Posting at 6:00 AM PST is early for SDS so maybe we get multiple reveals today.
And we now have 2 pitchers (Fingers and Oswalt)
-
First post updated with NL East
Greg Maddux
John Kruk
Mike Lowell
Tim Raines
Tom Seaver -
Tom Seaver...again. Darling, Matlock, El Sid, Koosman,Leiter. Freshen it up guys
-
@Skarmaen_MLBTS That's what I was thinking as well I usually pick a pitcher first because its a lot easier to get XP using them over other positions.

I was hoping Santana Mets but nope Seaver for the 10000th time
-
Looks like most are 99 versions of the Live series collection rewards

Could be worse, could be a marlins fan
They get the same guy in 2.1 and 2.2, who isnt even on the team anymore now. They see Sheffield get his 99 for Dodgers last TA and now the ever exciting Lowell
-
@Dolenz_PSN will the jerseys from the cards be in the game when they get released this Friday? For example, the Tigers jersey Tony Clark is wearing, Exposes jersey, Roy Oswalt Astros jersey, etc?
-
Possibly: TAs usually include an Unlockables pack set. But we won't know for sure until Friday.

Id expect vault packs again
But then they skimped on giving anything worthwhile for TA2.2 so who knows -

Central also has no pitchers and is the grossest division so far in my opinion.
-
I guess AL Central and NL Central won't be getting done fast for me this time considering I can't hit with any of those cards and don't want to use them because their swing sucks
-
First post is updated with NL Central
Johnny Bench
Orlando Cepeda
Ralph Kiner
Ryan Braun

I would not say it is "gross" even though I was expecting a more notable Cardinals legend. These guys are all pretty iconic for their franchises though. Now maybe they may not be the best cards for competitive play but they are all pretty big names.
Interesting note: So far the two Team Affinity Cardinals legends spent a combined total of 6 seasons with the cardinals (3 each). The other chosen players?
Bench - 17 years a Red
Cepedo - 3 years as a Cardinal (although one was an MVP year)
Kiner - 8 years as a Pirate
Braun - 14 Years as a Brewer
Sandberg 15 years as a CubMeanwhile Stan Musial's best card is still an 89 overall. Holliday's Best Cardinal card is an 84. We don't have a single Mcgwire or Edmonds card yet. They have hidden Gibson and Brock in season collections and wasted Smith as a mid reward in a Jason Heyward mini season.
-
@Dolenz_PSN Yeah, those guys were all great players. I just won’t use any of them which is what I meant by gross. I’ll try someone in every other division so far.
-
Ryan Braun should be pretty decent. And that's all I have to say about that.
