I’m really tired of the BS SDS puts out every year. You reward bad people with bad input. You punish the players with good input with bad results. You ruin the game by patching hitting when no one complained. You don’t patch the hits that are given that are 20 feet outside the zone. I’m just sick and tired of being fooled every year with their so called “improved” gameplay when all they do is screw up everything the second week. Please do create posts talking about how hitting and pitching in the game is as I am looking forward to seeing how people feel about this game.

Check my post history, I’m not happy with this mess either. I mostly play RS, I’ve played thousands and thousands of online RS games in the last few years and I can confirm this year plays terribly in most, if not all aspects. Pitching is indeed woefully inaccurate and not fun. Hitting is not fun. Batted ball outcomes and swing timing windows are inconsistent as a result of being setup incorrectly. Fielding is atrocious, every fly ball is an adventure. Lag ruins the flow of gameplay, no matter how good your internet connection is, the game can be choppy and unpleasant. There are many game breaking glitches to be found, from the play area boundaries not being correctly enforced, to players clipping through solid objects and selecting the wrong animation for the situation causing additional frustration. It’s a joke, it really is.

I've seen a few glitches and have had a couple cost me games, but overall I don't see what the big problem is. I basically only play RS and haven't had any kind of lag in any game. I get frustrated too when I square up a ball perfectly only to be an out, but that's baseball. Weird things happen in real life too. It is just a game, and with everything going on, I'm happy to have some kind of baseball/sports distraction going on. I also haven't played yet today and won my last few....so my mood could be different later after a few bad games haha

You just sound like a crybaby. Base hits do happen on balls out of the zone, and players can hit home rubs with early swings. Early does not mean that it will automatically be foul. It means it’ll be closer to the pull side foul pole. Depending on wind, power, and swing trajectory, not to mention the dimensions of the field, it’s perfectly fine for a ball with early/ok to go out of the park.
I think you might just be not good, or you get some bad luck. Either way, your complaint is unfounded in anything other than frustration.

So when you are about to win a game because you scored a couple runs off of hits outside the zone I guess you quit and give your opponent the win right?

Your blind if you don’t see the problems with the hitting engine. It’s similar to 19. Good contact isn’t rewarded nearly enough. It’s completely frustrating squaring balls up all game just to watch your opponent get bailed out by bad user input. -
The game will be great once early okay’s arent homeruns for people below 80 power and once your outfielders lock onto fly balls and not get animations like they are going to overrun routine fly balls. And last one when almost every pitcher you use stops throwing down the middle when you don’t even want the ball in the strike zone on certain counts.

I was actually doing good with pitching the last 2 weeks until last night, I was up 1-0 pitching well. Bring in a fresh LH Relief pitcher in the 7th. Give up a 2 run HR. Cause the pitch instead of being high inside went down the middle. I just quit the game because what is the point. I had 8 straight K's in the game. My opponent could not hit anything until the 7th. My starter gave up a hit and was getting tired so I pulled him. SDS needs to change how fast RP gets tired now that they pitch to 3 batters. After 8 pitches even warm up fully some of them get tired. Why do the RP not have full energy ever.

At the moment, I’m somewhere in the 700s I believe. I never said there weren’t problems, I just said that most problems are exaggerated.
Also, if you’re going to call someone dumb, don’t do something like say “your” when it should be “you’re.” It makes you look even more stupid than you are.
