This is what a sinker is supposed to be, notice how he says if you don't get on top it flattens out and is bad, basically saying if you don't throw it low it doesn't sink. -
a sinker is by design meant to enduce a ground ball , you cant get a GB by throwing it high , so unless you are throwing it low you are not throwing it correctly , josh hader grips his FB like a sinker , and throws it everywhere , hes trying to get movement that by design is suppose to not allow solid contact and getting fouls and pop ups like what a cutter is designed to do
if you throw a good sinker , hard , break and can hit the corner its devastatingly effective

i use to think the same thing about screwballs and splitters ,worthless and dumb , but once i understood the pitch , when to use them , what the desired effect was ,and why ,and learned to throw correctly i love them

@hoo_pharted_PSN the post was intended to show sds that a middle in sinker shouldnt start up and in and drop to the missle and run in, it should just be a flat 2 seam that's east to read. In game it looks like a slider and then breaks the other way and they wonder why everyone is always late on it

Pitching has me most annoyed this year.
