Unable to equip season 2 cards

I loaded into the show but it won’t let me use any season 2 cards saying I need to unlock the wild card slots for them

You need to generate a season two squad and exit from there.

you have to enter manage team , then scroll the cursor "UP" , then over right to highlight the option for saved teams , then click on a slot , cick the settings icon it will drop down choices like generate best team S1 ,S2 , click S2 , and then scroll back down and set your positions
