Can someone talk me off the ledge please?

Was pretty jacked up to read about how S2 would be a much easier grind, or atleast we have the ability to get players easier.
Am I missing something??
Looks like they are pulling the same thing they pulled in TA3....having to grind all different game modes to gain XP. I don't play ranked co-op. Never play against CPU. Mini-seasons, eh.
I guess my question is, what is the best way to tackle this grind? Typically I go after the conquest maps, and with I was pumped to see we could complete the maps for East, Central and West.....but then I noticed there are only two or three categories where conquest stats count. Seems like alot of grind for a little.
I definitely don't have as much time as I used to, but I can still put in about 10 hours a week yet lately I feel like everytime I log on I get overwhelmed and have no desire to figure it out.....end up turning the system off. Any recommendations as to the best grinding methods would be greatly appreciated.

It's super fast once you actually collect a boss. Start with a pitcher. You'll get 17,500 points for every 10 Ks in Conquest. Plus you get like 10k for ever 15 hits.

On top of that its 5000 xp for every 500pxp with a boss and another 5000 for 1500pxp with that division.

Yes go for the SP first on the team affinity five pack then use in games and and the other cards will unlock fast. Can get 10ks for 10k XP repeatable

@jonblaze2424_PSN if you don‘t have time, this will lead to nothing. They said it was easier. They did not say that say 2h a week will get you to Griffey within a month

@YOSHI24_XBL Never once was it mentiond im looking for Griffey in a month. Was simply implying there are alot of different dynamics that in my opinion seems like MORE grinding than usual, so I am asking what is the best way to tackle this. Appreciate your input man!

I think it is going faster, I'm already up to 222k, so I'm thankful for that they listened to us

your first sentence implied it … to answer it: if you like offline: Play conquest, fill your lineup with TA-guys (as you get them). Or start off with mini seasons. Other than that: programs, moments …

Also most know this maybe some don’t but keep track of how many hits and Ks you need in the 25/25 because once accomplished in 9 inning game doesn’t reset and carry over so you’re wasting your time. I just got the 10ks with manning in 6 innings and only needed 10 hits to make the 25 so no need to keep going just quit and restart again. Maximum XP created stadium is great for getting that 25 hits it has crazy elevation and ball flies out

@jonblaze2424_PSN I haven’t touched the event, but I assume all of the TA2 cards are eligible.
If you knock out the conquest maps with divisional team builds to gain progress and unlock a handful of TA2 cards, take them into the event and I bet you get a good pace going.
Highly recommend Merril Kelly and Tanner Scott for pitchers. Bo, Rosario and Santander for bats.

Or you could just play the whole game, get the reward path xp plus the PXP needed for those challenges while putting in another pitcher from a different division in to make progress on that...

@Easy_Duhz_it__MLBTS good point usually don’t back out unless early in a game cause do miss some XP for quitting early. Only wish game was smart enough to reset that counter mid game

I got through the NL Central and NL West real quick by starting a game with Hader, pitching about 4-5 innings, getting about 10-13 Ks then putting in Morejon to finish it off. I was doing vs CPU games and grinding the London program at the same time so i had a team loaded with season 1 Mets/Phillies. Took me about 3 games to get through everything
Edit : Should probably add that i was about 60-65% in both divisions when i started. I didnt do the whole thing in 3 games.
