I get what your saying, but don’t act like SDS is the only company that has baseball on point. 2k was bad. But EA mvp baseball was great during that time so imagine how it would be now, no? Think about how far things have come since then..

If Madden and NHL are any indication I'm not sure I want EA making a baseball game either. If they wanted to they would have by now anyway, so why even talk about it.

it may clear up a lot of the toxicity on these forums though, so that might not be a bad thing.
True, grass is always greener on the other side, so proving the grass is actually just a bunch of dried up dust would help prove how good SDS actually is.

Alright i forgot about that lol but MVP was still better than 2k in my opinion. MVP 05 was the game I loved most. Think about how far gaming has coming since then. And heck I doubt they patched or had updates that much back then.. maybe even at all. Cant say if they did bc I didn’t have internet to play back then, but now patches/updates are the new norm when the game first drops.

2k made about 7 terrible baseball games in a row before finally giving up. The vast superiority of the sony baseball game was a huge selling point between about '08-'12. That along with exploding 360's...

No it won’t. People are always going to complain. 90% of the complaints on here are from people who lose and think they’re entitled to a win. It’s hard to take a majority of this forum seriously when they’re complaining that their pitches aren’t landing on dots or their opponent hit a home run with Joey Gallo on a ball that wasn’t squared up. It’s getting absurd the amount of tears shed on this forum from people who just aren’t as good as they think they are.
last year and even this year people wanted them to implement a skill gap to prevent "little billy" from winning, so they did, and now everyone's complaining because they can't win. It truly is a magical time we live in.
I lost a game last night that I should’ve won. Tied 2-2 in the 10th. I threw a cutter that I aimed inside on Trout, but mistimed it. Ball stayed over the played until Trout knocked it to the next county. I forgot to come on here and say the game cheated me...but that’s only because it didn’t and I screwed up.
got not problem with punishing for a bad release but don't punish a good one especially if the pitcher has high control, happens way to often i aim for a corner and leave it over the plate on a good release

You obviously haven’t played 2k20, it’s [censored] way worse then this. NBA 2k20 is easily the best sports game out and it puts MLB to sleep in every way especially game modes

2k basketball is designed to rip people off. **** 2k and their ****** packs that they force people to buy.

2k rips their customer base off worse than any company in all of gaming. Their “Myteam” model is the definition of insanity.

That’s fine man. But they put 20 different versions of every card out. They tank people’s value in cards a week after they release. Their system forces you to buy packs.
In a few years there will be a documentary on how criminal this era of gaming is with micro transactions, and 2k will have a whole chapter in it.
SDS is the only sports game developer that does right by their community.
Spot on man. The gameplay does [censored] me off on a daily basis in the show.. but SDS at least is more than generous with helping players who don’t spend money compete. You get all the lightning cards just by playing this year. Babe Ruth, all the tops now cards. The henchmen and inning bosses. No other sports game comes anywhere close to being that great with free content.
