How many complaints about Wild Cards slots are we expecting at the start of season 2.

I just have a feeling that many players don't yet understand how SDS is rolling out Wild Card slots in season 2. Some people assume that we will just automatically get one and others think they will get 4 wild cards on day 1.
I expect complaints from the following.

Some players who did not finish all of the Head Start objectives will start out with none to begin the season. There will be complaints about that, especially since one of the head start objectives required online play.

People who mistakenly thought they were getting all 4 right at the start of the program.

People who feel like the 3rd and 4th wild cards spots are buried too deep and will take too long to unlock.
It's a little disappointing to me that I will apparently start the season with 0 because I did not complete the Egg hunt program. But I have done the others so hopefully it won't take much for me to unlock the first one.

People complain regardless of what happens. I like the seasons because it gives late comers to have a levelled playing field rather than having to play catch up. This stuff was a big issue last year too and I don't think I ever really utilized wild cards because nothing was so above and beyond newer content that it was worth sacrificing TA points. Maybe in a slump I would WC a starting pitcher I had success with.

Yeah, by the time the 3rd and 4th WC's are earned, they won't be as valuable. My guess is that many of us may not even unlock the last one. Expiring cards are terrible! -
Im saying at least 10 on launch day....7 of which will be from AdeptofMemory.
As far as where they unlock, they said doing all the season 1 stuff listed would get you to level 10 so im assuming thats where the WC is. They also said, we'll still get progress if we dont complete everything so im assuming it will be 2 levels per mission....so you'll probably still be level 8ish

@Dolenz64_XBL for the Egg Hunt, did you get to the Yelich card? If I’m not mistaken that’s the “completion” point for head start.

Not even close. When I knew that there were online requirements I simply ignored the program as I did not care enough about any of the rewards to bother. According to the website I am 10% completed with that program.

Yes, that is a given. Somebody will always complain but I just feel like Wild card spots are going to spike it quite a bit.
It is hard to compare this to last year since we were never required to start from scratch last year since there was always a one season buffer. You were able to earn good season 2 cards before you needed to give up your season 1 cards when season 3 finally hit. You were always able to carry over good cards every season without the need for a wildcard.

Expiring cards are terrible!Yeah, that is something I didn't think about, we will have good enough S2 cards that we won't need the last couple WCs by the time we get them.
I'm not a fan of the season model, but I don't hate it as much as others.
