I've had 18 PA with him and zero hits online lol. I literally dont know what im doing wrong.

I've always hit very well with him in past years. Not this year though, I seem to be late on every swing with him.

18 pa isn’t close enough sample size to give up on him. At this point in the game, he’s the best hitter you can get without doing collection. You are most likely pressing. Just wait on a pitch, because when you do finally connect, it’s gone!

he's the card I was most excited to use this year. with over 100 at bats he's the only guy in my lineup hitting under 350. he's hitting 225

His first AB with me was a HR... I have since played quite a few games with him and hitting under 175 with him... but he's hit a pinch hit HR for me... I've switched him with Gwynn as I needed someone who would get on base more for me, and a lead off hitter.

I’m a pretty good player I think my record is 32-14 and benched Reggie for Grandy. It was so frustrating because I’ve mashed with Reggie in past years but I seriously can’t hit my way out of a paper bag with this years version

In all honesty he is a very streaky hitter just like in real life keep grinding out ABS with him and he will start hitting i am sure

I can’t speak for you guys and your skill set who are having trouble with him like the OP is having. But for me, I am a WS player, batting .360 with him(on hof and up) with 27 homers.
Like I said in a comment earlier. You guys could be pressing. Seeing how his stats look amazing and pci huge compared to a Joey gallo pci, you might be swinging at anything and everything. Just wait on a pitch. Because when he does connect, it’s a moonshot. Plus in my honest opinion, best no doubter bat flip in the game. Don’t give up on him yet. And his defense isn’t a joke, plays above that bronze shield! Good luck guys

He really does play above his bronze shield. I’m happy I’m not the only person who’s noticed that.

I agree with this. I was concerned about his vision but he has been amazing for me. I don’t see anyone bumping him out of my lineup until mays or Griffey comes along.

Not killing it .274 BA, 28 HRs, 69 RBIs in 281 at bats. But he’s had some “clutch” HRs for me.
So I love this card.

He takes a bit of getting used to, I think I went hitless with him my first 4 games, I was about to bench him but he started to pick it up and now he's probably my best hitter.

Can't hit with him and his defense is suspect. I think this year is a bust unfortunately.

Struggled with him as well, hitting much better with guys like FOTF Moncada and Gleyber. Granted I’m not an elite player so take it with a grain of salt.

Look fastball and adjust. A lot of people are going to that high outside fastball when their pitcher is opposite handed (so a RHP to Jackson).
