Hall of fame/ gameplay

I will square up a ball with good timing and the exit velocity will be 88 mph nearly every time. This game makes no sense. This seems to only happen to me on hall of fame and legend. Also hitting a slider away is stupid hard now. The timing in this game is so messed up on so many levels. If I swing early on a slider I’m very late. If I swing just early I hit a ball 500 foul. If I swing good it’s a fly out or a line out. The purpose of swinging just early is to pull the ball? Goes foul nearly every time. How do you manage to downgrade gameplay quality on a new game compared to previous? The content is recycled garbage and the gameplay is even more garbage. Rant completed

I played about 6-8 ranked games on HOF this weekend and all I can describe the timing / gameplay as is inconsistent.

I played a ranked match last night and squared up multiple Perfect Perfects and goods with the dot right on the ball outside corner of the plate and they were weak infield pops. My opponent swung at everything had some weak hits that sailed over the fence. I was 22-1 and lost somehow. What I noticed is it’s just RNG. If ur defense ever makes a silly error or ur opponent is getting late or early bloop hits you can bet ur [censored] after he loads the bases a homerun is coming regardless of what you do. It’s getting really old and way too predictable

Sounds like some people think they are better than they actually are.

I used to think nah its just skill. No RNG, people are just complaining to complain. I played 2 moonshot games this morning before i left for work, The first i won 16-4, guy was something like 56-13 with a WS Icon. The second guy was 5-26 (i think) it was an awful record. i won 1-0, i had 2 hits one being a solo homer. 6 perfect perfect outs. in the top of the 3rd he got bases loaded. one was a fielding error, one was a hit and the other was a walk, on pitches on the black for ball 3 and 4. he eventually struck out and grounded out to end the game. what is that? i'm not 100% saying it wasnt for my 2 hits only, but it felt really rng. but i smoked the better player....idk.

Spot on Lioned. Especially the silly defensive errors in needed situations. Usually for me it’s a basic ground ball that I’ll no doubt turn a double play to and my infielder either just doesn’t bend down low enough to get the ball or he just flat [censored] misses it or it hits the end of his glove. Something we have no control over whatsoever.
