If you will admit there are some gameplay and bug issues in this game you can absolutely at the least say it's enough to make people extremely discourage and unmotivated to try to learn how to play. It really does suck that in today's technology we cant make other versions of MLB or NFL etc games without ONE greedy company to own it all.
Indie games on PC do so well because they don't have to rely on one [censored] company controlling their every move. You don't see that in sports games.Cool. Im not gonna admit to [censored] that doesnt happen to me. People in the forums like to exaggerate. I find it hard to believe that he constantly gets good/perfect contact and they're all outs. I find it hard to believe that hes never gotten a groundball through the infield. It may not happen as frequently as he would like but, in here, people think if you're not putting up 20 runs a game, its a conspiracy and SDS has a personal vendetta against them.

Like they are just here for no reason. These issues are VERY real. And you gaslighting and acting as if since it doesn't happen to you it's not real is literally making the issue worse.
I'm happy for you you've never experienced these issues. Id say that's some luck I would want to have cause it's seriously done damage on my love for this franchise just as it has many others. SDS white knights live in this weird bubble that sparks this insane defense of these greedy game companies that makes you turn on others who are the same as you. Easily the best baseball game of all time

I have my sliders set to where I can win those games that I suppose to and have a very hard time winning against good teams. I can play the Whitesox, Athletics and win 80% of those games. I play the Yankees, Phillies, Braves, I might can win 50%. Overall I am liking to game. It has a few faults here and there, but it is a programmed game, not true to life. I still see the comeback code kicking in. I see when you get 2 outs the next batter is like super human trying to get out. But the biggest complaint I have with this game is the amount of foul balls you get. I had one batter that it took 27 pitches for him to finally fly out. That is very unrealistic.

Belt took 21 pitches back in 2018 so congrats you beat the MLB record by a few pitches.

well , albeit not perfect , its way better than any bb game out , and has made significant improvements over the years , i think the little flaws in the game start to wear on you as you grow bored or complacent with the game , as the "new" wears off , im still having trouble with the square button throwing X buttons pitch ever so often causing me to groove a HR pitch , im aiming for a breaking ball and it throws a FB dead center/center, im not imagining it , it will do it 2 more times then starts working as it should , and all 3 controllers

This. Lol this is what a major part of the problem is. SDS has more fans like this than fans like me on the forums. I do believe that Tyler is a parody account because he is VERY over the top about his simp natures. In a way I like it cause he is mocking and bringing light to the issues SDS has.
If he is genuine then he's and example of the issues.

It's not really a lie that this game is worse than the last 3 years of it. Every game pitchers are consistently showing late on pitches even 90+ rating pitchers both player and cpu. The cpu throws more balls than strikes. Getting hits with less than diamond players is also super hard. All of these complaints are even when on the easiest difficulty.
I dont care about harder difficulties, I'm here for casual baseball while doing diamond dynasty and going for card collections. That being said this game is not easy for the casual player.
The xp in a day restrictions really makes it hard for casual players also complete "seasons" as casual players don't have time to play everyday for hours to hit that cap, while certain days they may have more time and get "capped" out.
Honestly I'm glad this game is free with gamepass because without that I wouldn't be getting (playing) it. I have spent a little cash on packs, but if the series continues to be as bad as 24, I will stop spending, get all achievements and be done with those games.

I am salty that I bought this game for myself and a friend to play because I feel I haven't gotten my money's worth. I enjoy TS23 WAAAAAAAY more and it too had problems but nothing like this. -
