Not getting pxp from Sanford Greene for recap

I'm using Hilton L Smith to try to work the repeatable series mission in Season 1 Recap program that requires you to gain pxp with Negro League players. I find using pitchers in these situations is the fastest was to grind pxp. He's a Sanford Greene series card and I've gained 1900+ pxp so far but just noticed it hasn't given any credit toward the mission. Anyone else run into this or am I doing something wrong? Thanks all!

The Sanford Greene Series cards are different than the Negro League cards. You have to use The Negro League cards, not necessarily someone’s card who played in the Negro Leagues.
