Simple fix for season 2 XP path

This all assumes the base reset starts at 90 vs 87 and accelerates quicker.
150,000: wild card pack 1
300,000: wild card pack 2
450,000: Boss Pack 99 (Jeter, Sosa, Santana)
600,000: wild card pack 3
750,000: Boss Pack 99
900,000: wild card pack 4
1,000,000: boss pack 99
1,150,000: wheel spinYes I know the boss card positions are similar to season 1, and that's done by design to encourage choices to be made for WC cards.
If they are worried about the grinders getting them too fast, then limit events to the max number currently being offered, say 93 player card max. Then we can use the WC spot to use a season 1 93 and get some use out of fun cards. In ranked, make it so if you pass a threshold, say 400, 500, 600 etc you can't go back below it to avoid people tanking and ruining it for others. Maybe the 700 mark is the final tier to fall back to.
Remember we'll also get AS cards and draft cards (97's?), and probably a HOF Program (99's?) in season 2 as well. This path gives us staggered 99's and still offers plenty of variety to lineups.

Are Sosa, Jeter, and Johan thr definite 99s for S2 or just a guess?

Just a guess. Just throwing out legends that would make sense in this scenario.

Looks like one of the 3 bosses is Ken Griffey Jr.
-
You're right. The whole stupid idea was a waste of three minutes this morning. And after reading about all the "changes" they are making It's really just a bunch of lipstick being put on to hide the fact that nothing is really actually changing.
-
Yeah they aren't actually changing the xp cap or rate of gameplay xp acrual by the sound of things, just adding more overall xp to programs and making the bosses available sooner.

I am not going to call what they are doing good or bad until i see it but it "sounds" like a good start but only time will tell if it's good or them just rearranging the chairs on a sinking ship aka this game.
However I do have some hope so please SDS do not let the fans down.

@blitz77tw Honestly my first thoughts when reading that blog was that, as I had mentioned in a post a while back, it's not "we don't get to use these cards after another 2 weeks" like everyone was freaking out about. It sounds like there will be many options to still use them, only not in Ranked Seasons, which honestly is fine by me. The fact we can basically start S2 with enough xp from S1 programs to already have the first wildcard slot to me seems like a nice win. I'm with you though on refraining on calling it good or bad until it actually unfolds, but my initial sentiment from the blog is a feeling of encouragement and hope that S2 will be easier for most!

I'm hesitant to say this is a win, because at first glance it definitely does not sound like it.
However they keep saying "Season2 Other Programs and various modes will continue seeing higher XP reward rates compared to Season 1"
I'm wondering if they reverted gameplay XP back?

Griffey being a S2 boss is kinda funny. Every year I’ve played they have waited all year to release a really good Griffey. With this one being the Hall of Fame series i expect it to be really good, not like the kinda mid BR reward from last year or the absolutely atrocious “99” from two years ago.
Could be reading too much into things, but I think Griffey being dropped this early is a sign of them being concerned about the player count dropping off even earlier than normal.

If Griffey is a boss (and they don't drastically change XP Drop rates), then most people would be eligible to get Griffey a couple of weeks before Season 2 ends. That effectively puts the timeline around... 1st week of August.
Compared to previous years when Mega-Griffey was dropped...
2023: HRD 99 Griffey dropped on 7/28 (via Extreme Program)
2022: 2nd Half 99 Griffey dropped on 8/12 (via Griffey Program) and everyone HATED it. So much so that...
2022: Takasi 99 Griffey dropped 10/7 (Program 11 [Fall Stars] Boss Pack)
2021: Milestone 99 Griffey dropped 11/19 (Mega Collection Number 4)
2020: HRD 98 Griffey dropped 7/3 (Collect HRD Cards) - kinda meh, so we got...
2020: Awards 99 Griffey dropped 10/30 (10th Inning Solo Boss)
2019: Signature 99 Griffey dropped 8/15 (6th Inning Boss and the 1st ever #GriffeyWeek) -
@SaveFarris they said that the first boss pack would be earlier and it would be easier to progress.
