This is why I do what I do to the mariners

This is why I do what I do to the mariners cause in real life my mariners suck big time I will never ever see a world series for my mariners ever cause as long as any good players that are out there they will always pick the big market teams like the Yankees, Dodgers, etc at least I know in reality my team sucks and never will get to the big dance and win it so that is why and FYI I ain't no delusional fan either just a realist -
Just remember you can only have 40 players on your roster and the other players aren't and will be subject to the CPU taking them on less you turn on Manuel roster editing but that's all I got

I get that but this post is about how bad my mariners suck so bad and the fact that I will never ever in my lifetime see a world series for my mariners and win it

Some call in a sling blade...

The M's currently have a 3 game lead in the West. Meaning, they're in first place in the AL West...#1...

Been an M’s fan all my life. One tough roller coaster after another

Dose it really matter? cause I know they will just get taken out when it matters and I don't see that many good players on my mariners if we had some actually good players we wouldn't be struggling we are 5th in the AL as a whole and look at the big market team Yankees look at their record compared to my teams and name any awesome player out there that would come to Seattle cause I can tell you no top star would come to my team they take one look at seattle and say I don't want to go to a city surrounded with a forest and thats a sad fact.

@TR71777
Half full, half empty...spin it how you want, BUT your team is still in first place in the AL West.
I hope one day you'll find happiness in your life.

I will still be happy in life in general but as long as my team don't make the world series and win it part of that life will be empty.

Maybe MLB will see this thread and give Seattle all the draft picks for the next ten years and make the other teams general managers promise not to take them. Could ask them to pinky promise even.

Wow being sarcastic I see

It’s probably the fans fault
The Mariners have had good teams and hall of fame players over the years
It all comes down then to sucky fans -

It all comes down then to sucky fansUm no it comes to greedy players that want to go to big market teams and one player I will never ever forgive and that's Alex Rodriguez he went for greed when he went to Texas and then the Yankees he didn't want to stay and help build and FYI it isn't the fans fault at all and for you to blame fans for players greed just shows that you don't know anything about true fans like myself that has been patiently waiting for years on end for a championship (world series championship) and no good player wants to come to us because of the fact that Seattle is surrounded by forests so again it's not our fault.

I see you keep mentioning the Mariners as if they are not a "big market team," they are in fact a big market team, you've just fallen for the lie so you have an answer to why they'll never attract the big names. The truth is probably much simpler. The Seattle Mariners are not a baseball team, they are a business, and it's a very profitable business so ownership has no reason to change the model.

@TR71777 at least your team is top 5. Try rooting for a team w/ the highest Payroll in the league that's 7 games under .500

@TR71777 all I see is someone who whines, alot

Can’t believe I’m actually going debate this with you but what heck. The Mariners dump a ton on money on players, their problem is given the chance they leave. Why? Not the money, but whatever else. Location, organization, lame fans, the culture, etc
So yes, it’s Seattle it’s self along with the fan base -
@TR71777 and I thank you, with every one of your responses and posts to strengthen my point
