Hitting Preference Same As IRL

I've noticed I hit much better in the game with lefties, which is how I hit IRL. I'm wondering if this is normal. Does everyone gravitate toward players who hit the way they do in real life?
Pitching doesn't seem to be as big an issue for me. I'm comfortable from either side there.

I hit better with lefties too, and I'm a lefty. I haven't batted IRL in some 25 years, but that was how I batted too.

It seems that I've incorporated my ambush style of hitting from my playing days to trying to ambush every single pitch online. It worked really well for me irl, not so much here. lol

I haven’t played since I was 35, so 15 long years ago, but though I hit right handed all my life, I hit better with lefties in the game. Maybe because I always wanted to be a lefty? I was also very patient when hitting and considered myself to have a good eye. Here, yikes. That stick just lashes out on its own, and I’m powerless to stop it…
