Has SDS ever explained why innings only count if the same pitcher starts and ends the inning?
-
It's incredibly annoying that if you need to use your bullpen mid-inning it doesn't count as a full inning for TA even if everyone you used that inning is from the same division so I was at least hoping they explained why that is somewhere lol
-
Because if you don't pitch a full inning it's not a full inning? Those are baseball rules not SDS rules.
-
I mean I'm pitching the full inning, but if I use one pitcher for 2/3 and another pitcher for 1/3, if they're in the same division, that's 1 inning with that division but it's not counted as such

Easier to program the game. One less variable to track

I certainly hope this isn’t the actual case. This isn’t an Apple IIe we’re programming here…

To achieve 1 inning pitched - you must record 3 outs with the same pitcher.
