What's the point?

Why would anyone lock in cards for the season colllections? Whats the point? Please make it make sense. Why lock in cards for more cards that will soon be useless?
Collections should be core cards.

@go4stros25 I agree those cards should be core. I only collect cards that are no-sell to begin with, and save my stubs for the market

All collection awards should be Core, but we do have the wild card where S1 cards will be able to be used and S1 cards won't be invalidated for everything, just most things.

Collections should be core cards.
Cause they're idiots like me thinking SDS would give us enough cards along with maybe needing to spend 100K-150K or so for additional cards to get the bosses "early". I've spent 150K easily on most of the sub 10K cards and still need to complete TACH3 along with this and next week's season award cards to get one of the S1 bosses.
I have a long memory SDS, won't fool me into that again. Clowns.

I locked mine in to get the choice packs. Mostly because Willie Mays makes my Giants theme team elite with the captain boosts. And because that 99 Satchel is filthy, and because the 99 Brett, is end game 3B

Here's my take on the Wild Card spot(s):
Yes, you can use up to 4 S1 cards. But remember that each spot you utilize a WC is one less spot you have to get mission points for S2 cards.

Zero reason to collect any cards this year, all cards are out classed by the time you reach them and the 99’s have cheaper alternatives on the market to wildcard. Why lock in 500k worth of cards when you can buy Posada in a week for 40k to use next season.

When Ramon handled the streams he would bring up Quailty of Life of the game. They would take feedback. What happened to that? Gameplay my only complaint is the defense. Hitting, Pitching has always had the same grabage tweeks. The Seasons, the sets, xp cap is such a joke. The old reward path was great and these set collections should be available in programs. The set collections are as big of a joke as needing hats and jerseys that 1 year.

I agree with most people, and I’ve always said the collection rewards should be core, the bosses are fine being S1, but if you want us to spend money cards, especially if you can’t earn enough to free cards for the collections they should be core. It also allows season 1 cards to keep their purpose because you’re still trying to collect to get Mays, Paige and Brett, even after the season is over.

Guys, it all depends on how fast they let us unlock the wild card spots … After that you can choose. As I said earlier: I like them … and them being S1 … power creep is the way to go
Speaking of wild cards and not unlocking the collection: I am pretty sure we will get a S2 if we „accomplish“ specific goals. My guess is: Having collection done is one of them. If they do it like last year, you will get a xp-head start … maybe that is significant for how fast we can unlock wild cards spots?

I always refer to 23 (which is the lowest it can get
). I said it before: I like 21/22 better … That does not mean, that 24 is bad either :). I embrace the change, we are still in S1 -
