Matchmaking

In BR specifically, this matchmaking is so [censored]. Are only sweats playing now, no more casuals just grinding to try to get season 1 cards?
How am I matched against a guy with the 10x flawless icon when I average 0 wins each run.
Please someone explain.
-
@hollywood3183 because they’re the majority of players playing BR right now, and you’re probably matching them in their first few games of a run.
-
@BJDUBBYAH that’s just silly to me that matchmaking works that way. I guess everyone at the start of a run is at the same rank. But there really should be some sort of underlying mmr too. I guess games could take long to find if that was the case.

Yes the casuals have already abandoned this game

Pretty sure BR and events are litered with nonstop sweats. I don't think I've played a single person in events that wasn't at least 20 games above .500 lol

@aaronjw76 just wait until the Moonshot event. Try getting 3 outs with common pitchers, against the opponents with Top 50 banners.

@aaronjw76 As long as the best reward and only good reward you can get from that mode requires you to go undefeated you're never going to see any casual player play that mode. It's more competitive than ranked play.
I played moonshot once last year and never did again after that.
I'm not a top 50, likely never will be and I'm fine with that. I also just play casual, ranked, and HR derby every now and then. BR is just not for me.
