Casey Mize or Nate Pearson?
-
Want to add a new SP. which one is the better card and why? Thanks

I havent played Mize, but I owned and played against Pearson. The 102 Heat is tough, especially in 700+ series. I honestly like Kopech the best IMO, and he's the best value I believe.

Yea I love Kopech. I currently start Cole Oswalt Ohtani Snell and Kopech. But I’m getting bored of Oswalt and Ohtani and they’ve been getting rocked lately

Haven't used either, but I'd go with Mize solely for the fact that his pitch arsenal is probably the best I could imagine a pitcher having

No change up tho

Splitter has almost the exact same movement, though a straight change would be better

Yea so I took Mize and first game 6 scoreless innings with 8k. He’s really good and his splitter is the same as a change up honestly

If you're playing on hall of fame then go Pearson. That fb is fast. Mize is more finesse.

Kopech can’t throw enough strikes. You literally just have to wait him out. Don’t swing at anything until you have two strikes. Eventually you’ll end up with fastballs right down the middle. Usually only takes an inning or 2.

I got shelled with Mize, probably user error. Lol. Pearson has pretty much wasted everybody away though, surprisingly easy to control too.

I only have Pearson who I am enjoying but has control issues on pitches other than the FB.
If you can learn to control his other pitches (I'm working on it) then he becomes filthy IMO.
That said my only experience using him so far is on veteran RS (2 games) and one AS RS (1 game) where he has a 0.00 ERA
