Controller plugged in versus not plugged in

Not sure if it's just an Xbox thing but if you are having trouble throwing with Pinpoint due to lag, plug your controller in it should be smoother for you as well as your PCI, does anyone feel the same way as me about this?

It is definitely an xbox thing. Not saying it doesn't exist a little bit on ps, but it's a well-known issue with xbox. Especially with the default controller.
