What happened to hitting after this last update?? It’s terrible now!!

From day 1 of early access the hitting and gameplay for actual in game play, was absolutely fine!! I was so locked in and cracked out in Ranked,events, and BR!! Now all of a sudden I went from hitting .450-.500 with almost every batter, to batting .125-.200 with every new player. Idk what they did to the hitting, but it’s terrible now. The pci is moving so fast,and is so touchy, that you move it in the slightest bit it flies down or over everytime now. The timings seem so off. Balls I feel I have good to almost perfect timing on they’re saying early or just late!! And the times i do have good swings and placement, it’s just right to someone everytime, or the ball is hit like a shallow pop up. Not even making it deep to the wall or track…. I didn’t become horrible at this game overnight!! It’s not possible to go from batting in the high .400s with everyone, to batting .125 now…. And I’ve seen a lot of other people saying the same thing with how different and bad hitting seems now. Even against the CPU in conquest. Went from scoring 20-25 runs a game, to barely putting up 4-5 now. That alone says it all!! Whatever they did in this last update, they need to undo and bring it back to how it was. Even top streamers I’ve watched aren’t hitting that good compared to what they were, and how they usually are!! Stop fixing things that don’t need fixing SDS!!

Yep. After almost every single patch we see someone post that hitting has been nerfed. And I am not just talking about this year. It has been a common occurrence for many years now.
The patch notes specifically stated
There are no gameplay or live content balance changes in this update.

Yeah I'm not going to lie this game is so offensive heavy. If you scan't score 15 on All Star right now you're not winning.

Nothing changed from the update. It's always been random to me anyway. Yesterday was bizzare because almost every game in conquest went to extra innings at 0-0 then in the 4th I'd put up 6 to 10 runs lol. Overall though it's either 1-0 or 2-0 wins or 10+ to 0 wins......very little in between. That's just conquest on All - Star

Well, you probably were hitting on Vet, then went to All-Star and higher. Better pitchers in the game, so your first few games will always have inflated stats. I was hitting .600+ my first 6 or so games, now i'm around 390. Nothing has changed. In fact the foul ball ratio is still awful, and me personally i think the exit velos are way off too, i'm still hitting 500+ foot homers regularly when i bet over the past 3 years i maybe hit 10.

Nothing has changed gameplay wise…You’re just facing tougher pitchers with higher hits & k per 9. Plus if you’ve gotten over 700 in RS you are now facing HOF difficulty so your averages will drop.

I haven’t noticed a change. If anything, I am hitting better lately.

Hitting in 24 is not as easy in 23 - or at least the players don't hit as well. I thought this was all in my head until I went back into 23 and played some games. The hitting in 23 is way more productive than in 24.

Has anyone else had an issue with batter not being able to call time ? Or just me… lol
