I really hope they add them soon cause I’m in the same boat as you I choose them based on team needs really need them to add them to the store or some way atleast

I think the captain exchange would be a great add for theme teams. Even if it cost stubs to do the exchange I'd be down. Issue is once people figure out the OP way to use one it will just be the next Buxton boost.

I picked Dunn and Mondesi as my freebies then spent 25k each to buy Captain Dansby and Captain Suarez, and those 4 combined with the Buxton Boost have been fantastic. Fun the grind them to P5 too since they are CORE, and at the beginning of Season 2, I can use them combined with Buxton in the WC slot. I plan on adding Dave Peralta and Kevin Kiemeir next, who also take big advantage of the Buxton Boost. Lastly, when the final Jeter Program is released, but bet is that he is a Captain's Captain again, boosting all captain cards...that is likely when you'll see them in the shop again in the next few weeks.....

I also find myself wanting more/different Team Captains. Pack pulls and cards released after I chose my captains have me wanting to have made different choices.

I have the second pair, unopened, sitting in my inventory. Leaning Jays, but waiting before making a decision. There are better options, but not sure I want to rock a theme team for the Yanks or Dodgers.

If they were truly greedy then they would not give us any free and just charge for them.
There are lots of reasons to call them greedy this year but I am not sure that giving us all a free captains pack is one of them.

There are lots of reasons to call them greedy this year but I am not sure that giving us all a free captains pack is one of them.

I still don't have my team's Pitcher captain although I am closing in on it now. So do I use this free pack to save a few days of and choose the pitcher pack or get a batter and wait and earn my pitcher pack?
I'll be honest though, anybody I choose that is not a Cardinal will not get used much.

I’m with you, I took non-Reds captains in the packs I earned through the XP reward path. I’m close to P5 on Adam Dunn and it’s gonna be tough to take him out of the lineup, he’s insane at the plate
I’m leaning towards taking Eugenio Suarez with my free pack today versus Sonny Gray since I have better Reds position players over pitchers at the moment

@doobiebross66-72 Giving us 1 is an L. If you’re doing a team theme, you need both captains from the same team. We should have a way to get all these captains before they are completely irrelevant.
