Worst Gameplay Ever

The gameplay this year is absolutely terrible. I out hit my opponent 95% of games but the flukes just destroy me. I never get flukes. my Opponent get them every inning.

Bro, every game I play from 0 rating to 900, my opponent got 3-5 fluke bs pew pew hits on average. I'm not saying I never get one, but I average 1 literally every 3 games, lol.

@Shauwn It's because you're not taking bad swings. The bloops come on dog water swings. Which good players rarely take. There's a ton of anamolies in very early very late bad PCI swings causing a lot of these hits. It feels like facing Luis Arraez

You're absolutely right! Most games I've lost, and I've only lost 8 total games on 2 accounts, I check the batting analysis. I compare my good and p/p swings against my opponent. And how many bad to ok swing hits I get compared to my opponent.
More times than not, I have more good and perfect swings than my opponent. I also yield more outs compared to my opponent.
It's like some of these innings are scripted to give the worse player more of an even chance by rewarding them more with bad swing hits.
One game I lost 7-6. I had 26 good swings to his 12. I had 9 p/p against his 1. His one was a hanging slider for a hr. Out of my 9, 4 were outs, lol. Out of my 26 good swings, 5 were hits. It was like 23% I believe. His 12 good swings resulted in 8 hits, lol.
And he had 4 bad swing hits to my 0.So ya, that game I def got screwed.

Not necessarily but the game does have a massive issue with rewarding bad swings more frequently than good swings right now. It’s an issue that needs to be corrected but it probably won’t be. It’s a little better with crossplay off but those PlayStation players like all crossplay games they join(I know in Overwatch pc players wanted them removed from lobbies) lag like crazy so it’s probably some form of lag compensation which this game has been accused of being very heavy on over the years.

This f@$king game sucks. It’s the worst one In a long time. Unbalanced hitting, connection issues, DD is the worst it’s been since the pre perfect-perfect era. The devs are slowly turning into EA devs where it’s the only major MLB game so they just continually force feed us the same game every year with new players. No actual improvement to the game. Trash game, trash devs, trash product.

@Shauwn it’s designed to keep people “engaged” so they will stay on the game and spend money in the shop. These sports games have the same predatory matchmaking as COD. it’s a cash grab and each year becomes more and more prevalent.

And yet the current leader board is occupied by the same ones from previous years. Either they're better at hitting than us or they are being rewarded every year for being bad players.... I wonder which one it is?

Game stinks open your eyes the streamers are even saying the hitting is broken

My problem is that I kind of suck at this game. But in the past it has been much more playable than it is this year. Now I play most all my games on rookie because of my lack of skill. I also am very aware that I should and am earning less exp and etc due to my playstyle. Most sports games that I have EVER played have difficulty settings for the various players skill level. In MY opinion Rookie should be almost child's play and on most games the easiest game difficulty is simply that easy. Nobody that plays on easy has delusions of being great. I can't play so I keep my behind out of online play. But having to repeat the same game over on what should be easy mode is kind of sad. While I acknowledge that I am bad, I am not THAT bad. Even you guys who can hit the broad side of a barn are complaining about the hitting. How do you think it is affecting those that do not have your skill set. I will not address the overcorrection from last years play... Handing everyone everything is never a good way to go. But playing is supposed to feel good and this is not a good feeling this year...

Exactly. People say this every single year, and yet every single year it's always the same people at the top of the leaderboard. They must be the worst of the worst and just get bailed out by the game all the time.
